Do children in the Bambini ski course and beginner courses need a ski pass?
No ski pass is required for the Bambini ski course.
Beginner courses for Kids, Juniors, and Adults take place in the BOBO Kinderland or in our practice area. Both areas are equipped with the ski school’s own conveyor belts, which means no ski pass is needed on the first day of the course.
At the Langes mountain lifts, children up to and including 5 years of age ride for free. Please collect the free “Schneemannkarte” (Snowman Card) at one of the ticket offices.
Is wearing a helmet mandatory in Austria?
In Tyrol and Vorarlberg, there is currently no legal obligation to wear a helmet.
For safety reasons, however, anyone up to the age of 18 must wear a helmet in all courses of the Tiroler Skischule Lermoos Pepi Pechtl Ski & Fun GmbH.
In general, we recommend that every skier wear a helmet—common sense doesn’t go out of style.
Do group courses need to be reserved in advance?
Yes. Group ski courses should be booked in advance just like all other courses.
Secure your price advantage by booking early in our online shop or by sending us a non-binding inquiry.
Are ski and snowboard lessons also offered by foreign-language instructors?
The Lermoos Ski School offers lessons for all international guests of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.
In addition to German, our instructors mainly speak English and Dutch.
Special language requests can only be considered when booking private lessons—unfortunately, we cannot guarantee availability.
Is it possible to book lunchtime supervision for children on individual days?
Yes, this is generally possible.
If you wish to book multi-day lunchtime supervision on non-consecutive days, please book each day separately or contact us directly—and inform the ski instructor as well.
Can you join group courses during the week?
Slightly advanced and experienced participants may join existing group courses during the week.
For complete beginners, starting a course is only possible on Sundays or Mondays (Kids/Juniors also on Wednesdays).
If unsure, please inquire at our ski school offices.
