Do children in the Bambini and beginners ski lessons also need a ski pass?
Bambini and beginners ski lessons (including adults lessons) are conducted in the BOBO Kinderland area and on the practice slope. These areas are equipped with a conveyor belt, which does not require a ski pass. Children up to and including four years of age travel for free on the Langes mountain railways.
Are helmets legally required in Austria?
Yes, helmets are legally required in Austria, but this does not apply in all states. Helmets are required in Salzburg, Upper Austria, Styria, Lower Austria, Carinthia, Burgenland and Vienna. It is not currently compulsory to wear helmets in Tyrol and Vorarlberg, however we strongly recommend wearing a helmet to prevent injury.
Do group lessons require prior reservation?
Ski lessons for groups, like all our lessons, should be booked in advance. To avoid confusion and to enable us to find the best group for you, please send us an obligation-free enquiry.
Do your ski and snowboard instructors also give lessons in foreign languages?
The Lermoos Ski School offers instruction to all international guests who visit the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. Most of our instructors speak English and Dutch in addition to German, and many are also competent in one or more other languages such as French, Italian, Russian, Polish, Czech, Slovenian and Spanish. When you book a private lesson, we will make every attempt to find a suitable instructor to meet your requirements, however we cannot guarantee that your language will be available.
Is it possible to book midday care for children for a single day?
Yes, this is possible. If you wish to book midday care for several days in a row, please submit a separate booking for each day or contact us directly and notify the appropriate teacher.
Is it possible to start a series of lessons during the week?
